Sales and Business Development Germany (m/f/x)

As Sales and Business Developer Germany, you are responsible for developing and strengthening Tekna’s presence in the German market. You work closely with existing and new partners such as architects, interior designers, developers, installers, and distributors, translating Tekna’s strategic objectives into concrete commercial results.

As Sales and Business Developer Germany, you are responsible for developing and strengthening Tekna’s presence in the German market. You work closely with existing and new partners such as architects, interior designers, developers, installers, and distributors, translating Tekna’s strategic objectives into concrete commercial results.

You report to the head office and play a key role in market development, brand positioning, and long-term growth.


ROLE SUMMARY

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the German market
     
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-end architects, designers, developers, and partners
     
  • Increase brand awareness and project-based sales
     
  • Identify market trends and new business opportunities
     
  • Contribute to strategic and product development decisions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively approach and engage specifiers and partners in Germany
     
  • Build a strong network of brand ambassadors
     
  • Achieve sales and margin targets
     
  • Support operational sales activities of partners and distributors
     
  • Apply and safeguard pricing and discount policies
     
  • Initiate and follow up on marketing and promotional activities
     
  • Maximize customer satisfaction across all direct and indirect contacts
     
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence (projects, competitors, trends)
     
  • Use CRM systems (Dynamics 365 Business Central) and reporting tools effectively
     
  • Contribute to product management and new product development



WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a commercial role
     
  • Proven network within the German architecture, design, or project market is a plus
     
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
     
  • Independent, structured, and results-driven
     
  • Willingness to travel within Germany



SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
     
  • Strong relationship-building abilities
     
  • Commercial and technical affinity
     
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
     
  • Analytical and market-oriented mindset



LANGUAGES

  • Fluent / native-level German (mandatory)
     
  • Fluent English (mandatory)
