Cellar with Mercer and Kembleford Pendant

Designed by Marie-Emilie Geerinckx and captured through the lens of Caféine, this elegant private cellar project combines refined craftsmanship with understated luxury. Nestled beneath a contemporary residence, the space integrates a curated wine collection, tasting bar, sauna, and wellness retreat into one harmonious architectural story.

Tekna’s Mercer wall luminaires in dark bronze were thoughtfully selected to line the corridors and cellar walls, providing vertical accents and a warm, ambient glow that enhances the wood paneling and natural textures throughout the space.

Above the tasting counter, the Kembelford pendant adds a distinctive linear rhythm and a touch of modern sophistication, creating a focal point that balances form and function.

This project is a beautiful example of how considered lighting design elevates atmosphere — not only illuminating, but enhancing the spatial narrative with every detail.
